Jack Humphrey, a well respected internet marketer, will be my guest on the BlogTalkRadioGuy show on Monday, 22 December 2008 at 12:30 PM EST. Jack is the author of the first ebook I ever downloaded, The Authority Black Book. Although that was only a couple of years ago, his updated version is available for free at AuthorityBlackBook.com.
Jack is also the author of the Friday Traffic Report, a popular blog, and host of a BlogTalkRadio program with the same name. Visit Friday Traffic Report, the website where traffic magic happens! Ok, that’s what he says on the site, but I know his reputation, and I believe in magic. You can learn all about blog marketing and social marketing along with SEO, content development, and everything else it takes to be a pro blogger if you are committed to the process.
Jack Humphrey is a 10-year veteran internet marketer and consultant. He’s the author of Power Linking, Social Power Linking, the aforementioned Authority Black Book, and Co-author of Bending the Web. His newest venture is BloggingSuccess.com, a membership site.
We’ll talk about his successes, and maybe, if he is so inclined, a failure or two. I met Jack at a Mark Hendrick’s ISS Conference in Orlando in 2007. He was one of the featured speakers. I have to admit ( I don’t have to, but I will) that I didn’t understand a lot of what he was talking about. Web2.0 was a relatively new concept, so there were only a handful of people in the room who were on the same page. Most, like me, were puzzled by the concept of social marketing and, in particular, something called Twitter, which, according to a June 17, 2007 post on Twitter Facts, began to catch on in 2006.
The internet is a revolving stage, much like a carrousel. For those who understand its ups and downs, it’s exciting, and, quite possibly profitable. If you are having trouble grasping the brass ring from the place where you currently sit, take a few minutes to listen to what he has to say, and then, take some action.
Lead, follow or get out of the way is a popular expression. I don’t know who said it first, but I’ve heard it many times. I’ve even said it to people on ocassion when I was annoyed by their lack of action.
My friend Ray Pelletier was a magician who disappear May 21, 2005. He always told me to believe in magic. So, if there’s magic on JackHumphrey.com, I’m a believer.
Join me and one of the internet’s illusionists on Monday, 22 December 2008 on the BlogTalkRadioGuy’s show.
